Here I was, blindly following the same nomenclature as thousands of other Indians….calling it Return to India. Nothing can be further from the truth. A better acronym perhaps is ROI – Re-discovery of India! :-)
India has moved along at warp speed….way faster than I could have imagined….I came to my senses when I noticed the vegetable vendor standing by his cart, “texting” faster on his cell phone than I can type on my laptop! :-)
The snapshot of India I carried away when I left is not even remotely relevant to day….The periodic “refresher course” I attended during my vacations has not been sufficient to keep my pulse on the changes...
I am very happy to be thinking of going back to her….will she accept me back?
